Senavi Pictures is partly named after my dear mother, Quinda Vanessa Williams. With her being someone who loves to encourage others, see the best in people and things, and embodies positive change, I wanted to reflect that in what I do as a Photographer. Senavi is 'I Vanessa' backwards, minus the 's' and 'a'.
My time in the Military marked the beginning of my professional photography work. While in Wiesbaden, Germany, I was given the opportunity to fill the role as my Company's acting Private Affairs Liaison (aPAL), often volunteering time to capture my "Battles" and their families on camera at promotional and reward ceremonies and holiday events. This lead me to be recognized and nominated for Volunteer of the Year.
It's always been my desire to capture the best moments in the best light, at the best time with the best people. I've met incredible individuals that I'm grateful for to trust me with their time, and I'm looking forward to adding others to what I believe will be a long list.
